Term Barred is coming up according to customer when vm is attempted to be accessed. I thought that this would be because of invalid login attempts, but couldn't replicate it by putting in invalid passwords on our shop IPO. It's an IP500 Partner Edition with 1416 phones and embedded VM.

"Barred" is usually a result of a phone being denied outside line access. It can also be the result of a short code, if you've configured as such. My first inclination is user error. Can you reproduce it at their site?

Nope haven't been on site yet did a quick google since i've never heard of the term in dealing with the ipo so far and didn't really turn up much besides wrong phones. Will update with the problem and fix when I go out

Yeah, you really need to get on site and duplicate the problem. We can all brainstorm until were blue in the face but as you know true troubleshooting is a "facts only" kind of thing.
Good Luck.
