A Magix user says that their call forwarding to an outside number has stopped working. She says that when they attempt to test the call forward they get a static sound, dead air or a hangup. Apparently it was working fine until Friday. They say tat rebooting the switch fixes it for a while. Hardware???? Also whoever programmed the system gave them a FWD button which they press and then dial 890 then the outside number. What does that do? I always thought it was #33XXXXXXXXXX# to set call forward without a button.

Good thing you mentioned the 890 entry. That is a pool number. So, the call is probably forwarding out on a trunk in the 890 pool that has static on it.
