I have a customer that is looking to activate caller ID on a Definity G3 V6. I have 2 trunk groups, 1 for local and 1 for long distance, both are programmed as TIE trunks, with 1 trunk group having a TN767E and the other having 2 TN722B's. I believe I need to change the trunk cards to accommodate caller ID, but where else do I need to activate it in the system (providing the craft login can change it), and what trunk cards does my customer need to purchase? Thanks in advance.

If you want CWID on these trunk groups you need to change them to PRI's...that is what is needed. Take a look in "disp sys cust" and see if isdn-pri is set to "y" if it is your good to go..all that will need to happen is to work with the carrier to make the change... Then you will need a proc interface board if you don't already have one in the switch...some programming changes and your good...
