I just bought new pc with Windows 7 64 bit and installed Avaya IP softphone v6. For some reason I keep getting message "The Avaya IP service provider is not installed in window telephony system and its not working. I tried uninstalled and reinstalled and it the same message. does anyone have an idea how to get this fixed?

• Other Software Pre-Requisites
The following software items are pre-requisites for the IP Office Softphone. If not already installed, the IP Office Softphone installer will attempt to download and install these items before allowing IP Office Softphone installation:
• If the user PC is not able to connect to the Internet, the pre-requisites must be manually pre-installed. The necessary files can be downloaded from Microsoft (https://download.microsoft.com). Ensure that you download the full package for each rather than just the initial installer setup package.
• Windows Installation
For installation on Windows PCs, access to the following Windows updates, appropriate to the user's version of Windows operating system, is required if not already installed.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1.
• Microsoft KB967634 Hotfix.
