I am working on an older 2.0 AT&T Partner mail and I am trying to figure out how to forward messages from on mail box to another.
I am also looking for CID integration on this system. The system has a 4.0 CPU and 3.1S station and line cards. I know that the station ad line card will not do CID and would like to know if the 4.0 card will provide the feature.

To my knowledge Partner Mail had (2) releases,..... R.1 and R.3. But if you have a PM you should be able to forward after listening to the message by pressing 1, then follow the prompts.
CID didn't happen until the Partner II R.3 processor, plus you need (ec) expansion cards.
So with that said, my recommendation would be to upgrade your system.

Sorry, the Partner Mail is 3.0 in lieu of 2.0. I tried waiting after the message played and dialed one and got invalid entry, none of the prompts that follow the messages are for copying the message to another extensions mailbox. The manual for the voice mail I have does not have the operating instsructions for the user's mail boxes and I am trying to find it to see if it have the answer for copying messages. Anyone help me out?

That thing is so old I can't remember if it supports message forwarding but it's really simple to find out if you have the system. If it does it would be offered in the menu options after playing a message. If not it doesn't.
For a user manual go to Avaya.com/support but good luck with that. It's "new and improved" and the search is less than useless.

Just looked at the Installation Manual for an R3 Partner Mail.
During or after the message plays, press 1-2, (Ext. No.)-#-*-#
If you don't get any response when you press the first "1", either you don't have an R3, or something is seriously wrong with your unit.
FYI, we had 2 customers lose the power supplies after a power outage in the last month. One of them had it happen once before, and was smart enough to buy a spare voicemail with a bad hard drive, but a good power supply. The other was SOL.

There should be a prompt that says "to forward the message press 1-2" no? If that was there I don't think he would be asking. There is nothing "hidden" that you would need a user guide to know. If that prompt isn't there, there is something wrong.
Are you sure you have an R3? Also, the Partner Mail is a separate stand-alone unit that looks like a computer. It gets hung on the wall and is connected by phone line cords to the Partner system. Is that what you have or is it a module that is in the Partner system carrier with the other modules.
