I support a few IPOs for my own people as well as a couple nationals. I know Manager is supposed to be backwards compatible but that's not always been the case. I just play it safe and use the version designed for whatever rev it's running.

Never had an issue serviceing older releases with the latest rev Manager, we service ole 403/406's running 3.2 with Manager 10.0 (18). Just don't try and upgrade a system to a release that isn't supported. Ex., don't try to uprade a 403, 3.2 to R.8............ I quess it goes back to the ole "Know your system" mentality.

I realize the idea there could be any bugs in Avaya products is pretty far out there, but weird stuff has happened. When it comes to these nationals I can't allow myself a revist so I take no chances. Hard enough getting paid as it is without giving them an excuse.
