In Magix R4, V7 hybrid/pbx mode with 408 mlx ID and 016 ETR, There is no dial tone after I plug the "2500" basic phone into all 16 ports of 016 EER modules. All 16 ports are fine with ETR 34d phone. I never used this module before, but I remember top 6 ports is designed for this tip/ring phone. Can you program this 6 ports wth Magix R4, V7 upgrade card and how?
Can you use t/r extension to cover the operator and how do you program it?
Any help would be appreciated.

The top 6 ports can be used for T/R devices, but you have to program the ports for that first. You will find it under the Extensions menu, and the system must be idle to change them.

Once you have them set to T/R, yes you can cover the Operator by adding a Primary Coverage button to them through Centralized Telephone Programming (even though they are single line extensions, they appear as if they have buttons that you can program)
