I have a customer that has an SX200 working in a residential building. The operator console has a release button that is pretty worn from use along with about 4 others.
I just installed a new phone system in a factory that had the same model SX200. I received the other system as part of the deal.
The console looks exactly the same as the one having the problems at the residential building. Can I just swap out the consoles with the power on without any problems? Do I need to power down the system before the swap? I take it all programming memory is contained on the MPB so I would think that button programming shouldn't be an issue?

Console can be removed under power, just like a phone. Just plug your new one in! Just make sure you put the system back into day after you change consoles. The system goes into night when you unplug console.
