I have a couple of questions about the VoIP features of the SX-200 ICP. We currently have 13 lines connected to our old SX-50 system. I have heard that you connect a dedicated high speed internet connection (Such as T-1) and you can reduce the number of phone lines on the SX-200 ICP. Is that correct?

Yes and No. The SX-200ICP is the next generation of the SX-200 except that you can add IP sets and IP Trunks to it. Switching from a 50 to a 200icp will not necessarily allow you to reduce numbers of incoming lines. That is determined by your traffic. You can however, install voice T1 and PRI onto the SX200 and 200ICP. It also comes with a builtin voicemail.

Release 2 which is due out this summer will allow expansion to 192 IP sets and 6? digital bays.
