I can't format a Seagate hard disk(model ST32155N , Capacity 2.1G)when I connect it to the sytem."Device time out" appeared
after vol format disk sysuser load $3500 redun $4C00 scratch.Is it possible to use this kind of hard disk in SX2000 light system?

anyone help?

What software load are you trying to use? I think you're using the wrong start and redun values, the correct values for anything beyond LW 31 is $8000 and $10000.

Refer to software release notes, these usually give instructions to format drives and install software, as well as the minimum hardware specs to run software.
