Ok old laptop just won't connect to my sx-200. i am running win 2000 sp2. Procom plus with 8-n-1 I have the admin password and name. I know it has never been changed. I cannot get into the logon screen. I have pressed the enter button in the sequence needed to get there, but I just cannot talk to the system. I have it programmed for vt100. any ideas?

Are you sure you've selected the proper comm port on the laptop? Are you sure the cable you're using is straight thru, and NOT a Null cable.
If it's a digital system, is the toggle switch in the "Local" position?
