Two questions:

1. Any recommendations for good hospitality (hotel/motel) call accounting systems to integrate with the SX-50?

2. Any recommendations, self or otherwise, that would like to be referred to a small motel in San Diego with an SX-50 and no current vendor?

Tel electronics has a good call accounting system- InnForms XL- that we have in most of our hotels. Interfaces with a sereial or paralell printer, and has a built in modem for area code updates, etc. Call 800-748-5022.

I used the Inn-Form XL by Tel Electronics for years and found it to be a good system. But, (isn't there always a but?) it requires regular rate chip updates. I found these to be expensive and a waste of my clients money when I came across the PhoneBill call accounting systems by ESI. No rate chips, simple programming, and with the SX-50, you can have it turn off the long distance access for the telephone in a room that has exceeded its credit (or deposit) limit.

The unit is flexible, will connect to PMS systems and is very reliable. The price is right also.

You can try using the Mitel MiSN Member product from RSI called Shadow CMS. It works with all versions of Mitel SX series and ICP.

Ultimate Call Accounting Package. It is software based that you load on a PC. It is affordable. Very flexible, and it can provide PMS stream to cash register systems.
