I have a customer with an ML who will be expanding into an EL within the next 45 days or so. Apparently this is a relatively rare upgrade path (i.e., if there was potential for growth to this degree, they should have bought an EL to start with).
Has anyone done an ML --> EL upgrade?
Any issues that I should be aware of? Tricks, tips, stunts, war stories, things not found in the manual, stuff Mitel never told you? Size 9?
Any problems with converting the db? On that point, has anyone done a CDBAR from LW 17+ db to a LW 18+ db? (they should be compatible, I would think, with minor adjustments...)
Any info/advice/war stories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's been a few years, but was pretty simple. Back up the database, change the control card, restore database, do any other software upgrades required. I remember doing it over lunch. Was pretty standard.
