I have a ticket in with mitel right now with a site that has auto conferencing happenning, Also phones have been rebooting periodically. I know that the phones are rebooting because they are not seeing the ICP all the time.

Which of course points to a NETWORK Problem.
Have you checked all DHCP options, all routing in switches and routers/gateways.

Have you called Mitel tech support yet. I don't know what to do about the DSP errors.

The site we are having probs with, we do not control the network.
Everysite that we control with 6000 gateways and switches and routing. We do not have any issues at all with.

have had a problem with 5235 rebooting. Fixed it by giving them static ip address. Also there is a firmware upgrade for 5235 to fix rebooting. Available on Mitel site

The only reboot problems on the tel-sets we have had is when the 5220 was using power over ethernet . Once we put the power adapters back on the phones they stopped rebooting . The switch blades just could not supply enough power all the time .

Do you have the teleworker software and licenses for the IP sets ? What type of server are you going to use that interfaces with the 3300 ? What software version are the SX200 Digital and SX2000 . What type of intergration between the 2 systems are you trying to achieve ? The answer to these questions will help greatly with your post . Also do you have freehand access to the network the 3300 is connected to and is there a VPN tunnel if needed ?

OBTW, thanks for that
The next time I go to that site I will look at the power cunsumtion on the switches.
This site uses those powerdsyne, so they are not using powered switches.
Connection comes from a layer 2 switch through a powerdysne input port --out a powered port-- to the phone.
Company has 2 cat5 drops per desk. The phone system is on a vlan.
I don't know the power output on these units, but I will look into it.

No offense meant , So I hope none taken . Your post of March 18 if I understand it correctly is not something you go into blind . First question is do you have a Technical UserName and Password to access all 3 systems from an Installation standpoint ? If you do not then you are not able to proceed any futher . Let us know , we don't need to know your UserNames and Passwords in an open forum . Just a simple yes or no will suffice . Thanks :thumb:
