Hello Everyone. I currently install/service Wireless networks for Hotels and have residential phone installation experience but have been trying to find a way to learn PBX (preferably Mitel). I would like to know where or how I might be able to get training. Any help on this would be great. Thank you.

Which model/models of Mitel PBX'S are you interested in ? There is a lot of people in this forum that can help direct you to the educational material you need .

www.mitel.com offers training and certification for the SX-200 EL, SX200 ICP, and SX-2000. End-users are okay.

These courses would be a tough starting point, unless you understand quite a bit of telephony that, unfortunately, only experience can provide, such as types of COs (Loop-start, Ground-start, Wink-start, ISDN (BRI/PRI), T-1, etc). You also need to have a basic idea of telephony features and why people use them, as well as a good grasp of telephone terminology.

That would be Genesis Communications. You still need a basic understanding of telephony before going.

As far as I know, Mitel still has a training center in Costa Mesa. You'll probably have to be sponsored by a dealer, though.
