Hi, Is it possible to call forward a phone, using the FAC if the phone is barred. I use account codes for all the phones but need to call forward the phones to cell numbers. Obviously it won't just forward the call because the phone is barred.

I have tried to use a speed dial and add all the necessary but the phone displays invalid if I try call forwarding.

E.g speed dial number 6666 actual number *2(FAC for account code)12340084xxxxxxx. Dialing 6666 from the phone works fine but as I said call forwar the phone to 6666 doesn't.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
E

Are you using fac to revise the cor of the telset ? You may just need a system speed call number that forwards the extension to a cell number and don't use a forced account code . Just set override toll control on the speed dial to yes .

Check to make sure call forward to an external destination is set to yes in the cos . Check to make sure your system speedcall number has override toll control set to yes . Check to see if public network to public network allow , is set to yes in sta and trk cos . Check to make sure public access via dpnss, is set to yes in sta and trunk class of service .

I need to somehow "enter" the account code automatically as these call forwards need to be charged against certain products.

I have confirmed all the required COS options except the public to public network connection allowed. Thanks

You cannot direct a incoming pri call to a system speed call that dials a feature access code prior to a valid extension number . Only a station device can dial a forced account code / access code . As a station device I could dial a system speed call number that dials lets say *212345#9xxx4007 and it would call my cell phone . If I forwarded my phone to that speed dial neither internal or external callers could dial my phone because a system speed call is not a station device . So you cannot use speed call to accomplish what you are trying to do . Your last post turned the light bulb on as to what you where trying to do .
