I just want to thank everyone who helped me on my last post. I talked the company into getting me a command manual but it has not arrived in time for this. I need to create a fake or phantom extension number that will call forward to a 1800 number for hotel reservations. Again i am lost as mitel is unlike nec that i have worked on in the past. Any help is greatly aprreciated.

Don't use a fake or phantom ext number . Program a system speedcall number . Lets say 1234 which will dial 91800-xxx-xxxx . Make sure this overrides any toll control . smile Hope this helps

I'm quite sure you're talking about Holiday Inn Express, right? Transferring an incoming caller to central reservations, right? That can be done, but it involves a bit of programming to your PBX by your vendor (phoneguy). Have him email me with any questions regarding call forward external.

If this is Holiday Inn Express VECRO set-up (or any incoming trunk to outgoing trunk connect) make sure you have disconnect supervision on the trunks you will be using.
