We are programming out MX 3300 ICP. While we can program the DID Digital Trunk Descriptor, we are being handed the DID over PRI. Where can we program the DID for the PRI. Thanks.

Follow the instructions in the help file to program the pri.

Are you trying to program the PRI parameters or the digital link parameters ? Makes a big difference where and what to use . Let us know this may have to be discussed off forum via PM .

If you don't understand pri or did's, don't touch it and hire a 3300icp certified tech.

I am sure your a smart guy, and given enough time you might get lucky, to get it half working.

If you don't understand, B8ZS,ESF,NI-1,NI-2,CBC,d channel backup,CPN,DMSXXX,....this is just a few....you can't just know what they are, you have to understand how they work.

There is a lot more to it than just making a DID ring over there.

A certified tech could configure it in 90% less time.

Call your local Mitel dealer.

I am sure your 7 days of triing, is worth more than,7 hours time of a technicians.

Without trying to sound Bad it is done the same place you would do it for a T-1, I agree with Mr.Telephone Man get a certified tech on site who will make you look good in front of your customer, in 90% less time.

Do you mean a DID translation list. As in this DID number rings on this extension for instance.

That's not in the 3300ICP, but you can use the system speedcall function for this. You still need to set up you trunk discriptor to start with.

To make setup easier goto your maintenace commands and put in: CCS TRACE ENABLE CONTINUOUS

now you can see a lot more info when making a call to a trunk.

Don't forget to disable it after use.
