fifty5footer Note the 'minimum wires', and I've been in this long enough to tell you that, as an example, the OKI 82 would NOT work 1-1 thru 25-25. There were/are a lot of printers that violated the '232 Standard'. And computers and other 'RS232 standard devices'. Sorry, didn't mean to get pissy, it's just that I've lost some hair trying to interface some stuff! John C.

Since you specifically asked for help with the OKI 184 turbo, I just wanted to let you know how we have it setup on one of our lab systems. Straight thru ribbon cable, no jumpers, no loopbacks! Works like a champ!!

Okay, I have only done about 200 of these so if you haven't gotten this done yet here you go
Mitel Printer 1 1 3 3 7 7
and in all honesty it will work without pin one most times. On the high speed (serial) board in the printer you may need to turn dip switch four on switchbank two so that the printer will not be looking for voltage. If you don't want to do that then loop 4 and 5 and separately 6,8,20 on the printer end.
