Could anyone tell me what the buffer size is on the Mitel? If the output is unplugged, will the system buffer calls? Thank you in advance.

The system has 200 buffers which store call record information. If all buffers become full, there are two options: overwrite the oldest record, or do not allow trunk calls until buffers are available.

The buffer only works if the "guaranteed" option is set to YES in the Directed I/O form(Form 34). If it's set to NO, the system just transmits the info, whether a device is connected or not.

TDS - When you say 200 buffers, Is that 200 call records? Is there any way to increase that buffer?

Each buffer equals one call record. The limits are not adjustable!
