I'm having a vender head to head with a customers pms vender.I have a dataset 1103 on site.Worked fine for the past couple of years. All the sudden the integration stopped.I know the dataset is good, tried it at another site.No programming has changed,I did change digital line card, pair feeding set, db25 connector and patch cord to digiboard. They say I'm not transmitting data.Is there a way to procomm into the data set and prove I'm sending data.I'v never had to do it!I've got to get these guys some proof.I cant get them to come to customer site! Thanks Jayman!

Connect your laptop using procom direct to the dataset using a modem type cable, null modem shouldn't be required. Set procom to correct speed etc. terminal type ANSI or tty. If the middle light on dataset is blinking then the switch is trying to send data. Press <ctl>F to send <ack>. You should then see the message. You need to <ack> the message. If you see the message your good. Procom may not show control codes but you will see the main body of the message. To force a message dial "maid in room" code. Check status of dataset port to make sure it hasn't been busied out.
