I have been tasked with connecting our 3300 ICP (locally) to a Cisco Call Manager (in NY) via SIP. Anyone out there have any information on SIP configuration between the two systems? Tips, hints, suggestions, any information would be great.
Thanks in advance!

I never delt with 3300 ICP, but I think Sisco Call Manager has to be set up to open port that you are using in your local router for IP communications and have range off yours IP addresses to be registred at far end. Are you using VPN between two locations or P-to-P T1? If VPN give it to IT guy to take care of set up. Nobody would let you in Computer Network and Firewall. BTW what is at the far end just the IP telephones or other telephone system?

For anyone who is interested...this was actually a very simple connection and it works great!
We now have VoIP 4-digit dialing between our Mitel system in Nebraska and a Cisco Call Manager system in New York.
Beautiful!

I have the same systems and would be very intrested in speaking with you. I currently have a T1 connection between systems for 4 digit dialing but would rather utilize a SIP connection.
PM sent.
