I have a businees using the sx200. Everytime I need even the smallest configurations adjusted, I have been calling the local Install tech. I know little about this product. What is the attendant console? What is My Administrator? I inhereted this pbx and the original installer is unknown. I believe some hardware is missing. Are the Administrator or attendant console accessed through the PBX unit via laptop pluggin? I am looking for help to gain some independance and discover unused features.

don't know what kind of SX200 you have (is it analog?) but you are looking to sail into uncharted waters with many dangers if you start trying to do programming. Unless you are making changes on a daily basis then you might be better off staying with a tech.

The attendant console is basically an operator phone large big display. Is your system under warrenty or Maint contract? if so you will need to keep working with your local tech. If you are not under contract, call your local tech and pay him to come and educate you on your system. If they wont you can find other company's here on this site

The "attendant console" is th big phone like you see at the front desk of most hotels. It is a great tool for programming and checking the PBX without being attached with a PC locally or remotely. "MyAdministrator" is a PC prgram that allows you to attach to the PBX and make changes.

That being said...I agree...you should let an experienced tech handle the system programming for you.
