I am quite the newb in this field and am currently responsible for 3 sx2000s. On my hotel side, I have an extension with a dialed message waiting. Particular user has a Mitel superset 4025. I've noticed I can get the message off an older superset, is there some trick to the newer supersets I'm not aware of?? Any help would be appreciated. User is "special" and sends daily messages about his blinking light!!!

I do not suffer from insanity - I enjoy it.

Not exactly sure this is what your problem is but with the Mitel you have to turn off the message waiting light from each device that sent a message. You should be able to find (or assign) a code to feature "call sender of oldest message" this should tell you if you have anyone who has turned on the MW light that has not been called back.

There are several things you can try. If you have a console, you can remove the message that way. Just use the function key, then go to the station functions. You seem bright...you can probably figure the rest of that one out. wink

You should also be able to hit the message key with the phone in the cradle and see what station left the "message". You should also have a "DELETE" option there as well.
