Hello, I work in a school system on the telephone support team. We are using SX 200 EL w/express messenger cards and 200 MX ICP systems w/ the onboard voicemail. Classrooms are setup using split call forwarding. Currently all external calls to classrooms are fwd/always to vm. Offices and other non classroom areas are bsy/na to vm. Several sites have recently requested to have the classroom phones ring after the end of the school day. For example, 7am to 3pm all external calls to vm. 3pm to 7pm external calls ring in. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. This is my first post to this site. That I sorta stumbled across by accident. I am amazed at the wealth of information to be found here and have used it in my daily work already.

I couldn't think of anything but went and checked anyway - still couldn't find anything regarding doing this on a time basis. How are external calls routed to the rooms. Do they go through an auto-attendant or are they routed in via DID?

In the ICPs, if the calls are routed via DID, you'll be able to use the DID call routing form.
You'd still have to manually put the system into day or night service, but it would be an option for affecting the inbound options!

Calls are routed to the rooms via the DID's. Thanks for the info gentlemen. I'll explore this further later on. Things are getting pretty crazy with school about to start.
