This is more of an Operational, than a Tech question.
We currently use a Mitel SX200 system at our North East location.
We need Redundancy and expect to open a Back Up Facility in the Mid West.
The thought is to install a new, stand alone Mitel System in the Mid West, that will also serve as Back Up to the current system in the North East.
Can two stand alone systems be intergrated to communicate like a Remote Teleworker?
I expect to then also have a second Mitel Vendor to handle On Site work at the second Mid West location.
How do diffrent vendors intergrate?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

I don't understand what do you mean by redundent system. If North east location is down you cann't act in Mid West as a North East system. You cann't have the same numbering plan in both system if they integrated via T1 but if each is stand alone system you can have the same numbering plan but this wouldn't give any people from far end to act as they still at the same switch eccept if you are using IP connection on the top of regular lines or T1. Please make it clear what kind of Redundency you are looking for?

What about upgrading the EL's to ICP's, and using the IP networking feature to make look like one large system?

Additional Information. Let me say I'm a End User who is trying to understand enough to be able to ask a intelligent questins.
Equiptment currently in place: SX-200 6x20x8 system ( MX ?). SX-200 IP Stratum 3 Clock module. SX-200 NSU Module FIM 820 NM multimode Dual FIM 820 NM multimode Analogue Option Card (6LS/2ONS). I think I understand the LS above means: Loop Start Trunk. What does "ONS" Mean? 5448PKM Kit (48 Key. ONS / CLASS card. Also Mitel Station Set Admin Option, Level 5. Software Option VoiceMail Softkeys, Sofware option Max1 Digital Trunk Link, S/W SS4000 Sets?? TDM User Devices. Plus Licenses, Phones, and Power Packs.
To vad60: By Redundent I mean if the North East location burned to the ground, customers would still be able to phone in via a "Back Up System" in the Mid West.
To Dane: Currently in location #1 25 Desk sets 5207, w/ 10 Teleworker sets 5215s. Location # 2 will be 8 to 10 Desk sets w/ 2 to 3 Teleworkers.
To fifty5footer: I don't know EL's ? We do have the Sx-200 ICP ( intergrated Communication Platform).I think we have that capablity.
Can it run as one big system ?? And then if location # 1 goes down, we could "Flip The Switch " at location # 2 power it up, it would reflect the Identical Configuration as Location? And I guess we would need to "Adjust MAC & IP Adresses" with Mitel.??
Am I think correctly???
