I have a SX-200 ICP Phone System.
I'm using the MULTI CALL feature programmed on an open button of both phones. Everything is working great.
The user wants both phones to ring 1 voicemail.
Currently, given Ext 1 & Ext 2, Ext 1 rings Ext 1 voicemail, Ext 2 rings Ext 2 voicemail.
He wants Ext 2 to ring Ext 1 voicemail, and Ext 1 to ring Ext 1 voicemail.
Thanks much.

Weren't you originally trying to get one ext to appear on 2 phones? Why are people dialing ext. 2 in the first place?

I guess you could try forwarding ext 2 to ext 1 on busy and no answer. Don't think there is any cross reference available in embedded VMS programming.

Set them both up in a different tenant group, and use call rerouting to send them both to the same voice mail. Only one can have the message waiting light come on, but you can program a button on the second set with a message waiting indicator. This should do what you are trying to do.

fifty5footer - I have the incoming calling working as it should & people aren't dialing extension 2. The post request was for the user accessing the same voice mailbox on the 2 separate phones.
Dane - The call is forwarding on to one voice mailbox when busy and no answer. Was looking for a way for the user to hit the message button on Ext 2 and be forwarded to the mailbox for Ext 1
Chez - Thanks, I'm going to try this out and will post back

Unless I am reading this wrong the only way you will be able to have x 2 press a button and get into x 1's vm ( checking messages that is ) is by using a system speed dial list because both ext's will send there calling party ID to the VM hunt group. You will need to trick the system with a seed dial something like this-
1.- speed dial acces code plus bin *9+ 100
2.- *9100 = (vm HG)*9=(pause) *** ( i believe this = a *) *9=(pause) (insert x 1 here ) *9=(pause). Exapmle=*9100 5500*9****91*9
3. this should get x2 to hear " please enter your MB # then PW
Of course set you cos option 245 and system option 21
then you should have to program the speed call under a button.
I hope this helps,It will of course need some testing and tweeking within the speed dial bin. Refer to your docs on the different strings for form 31

Thanks for all of the responses. Sorry for the confusion. Step 1 was to get the 1 extension 2 phones working as described here: https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?/ubb/get_topic/f/6/t/000869.html The second part, getting the voice mailbox accessible from Ext 2, I did the following: EXPAND SET of Ext 2 Chose an open button, assigned it MAILBOX type, and put in the mailbox of Ext 1 Thanks again!
