I just wanted to get thoughts on the 3300 ICP. I am going to the part 1 of the I+M class in Atlanta next month, went through the web based training, and I have to say that I am pretty impressed so far. Seems like a pretty application heavy feature rich system based on what I have seen so far. Looking forward to working with it.

I went through the online training as well. There are so many models! Looks decent though.

I am most impressed with the phone options, specifically the desi-less IP sets; 802.11 bases, DECT wireless, IP conf units...pretty cool stuff. The AD integration looks very interesting as well.

great system, push for level 2 as soon as you get out of class while its still fresh in your mind. Listen allot in class and ask a ton of questions. Like all system's class just makes you dangerous. The 3300 is a different animal with allot of variations to fit almost any application.
Good Luck

Yeah, I've installed two so far. It's OK. Very PBX-y. The software is based on the SX-200 line so that's kinda disapointing. The key is to come up w/ a default DB you can use as a starting point to save lots of time. On this last one, I screwed up ONE setting on the PRI T1 and had to manually remove all mention of the T1, trunk group and trunks, then start over. Sucked BAD. Just cuz I missed ONE setting.
Also, the Hot Desk stuff works good, but you can't just create Hot Desk users and log into fones. You must create the fones w/ their own extensions, log each fone in w/ those extensions then log in as a Hot Desk user. Dumb. Also, if you need to change attributes of a Hot Desker, they have to log out of the fone first. Icky.
I haven't tried any of the Microsoft integration yet, but the Mitel apps install pretty easy and seem to work well. You have to install a server to use IP fones off-site, like at home, but that is actually a pretty good solution to eliminate NAT issues.
Don't want to go on too much, it should be sold to customers that need a pretty simple solution.
