I have two Mitel 401+ phones I've been trying to get to work on my SX-50 system. When I plug them into the system the two LED's blink alternatly and then go out. When you go on or off hook the indicator at another set for the ext. I'm using is very slow. Never get any audio, but if you dial the Operator Console it does ring. Also if I use a 420 phone on this ckt it works just fine.

401+ phones were for the 200 LIGHT and EL. Will not work on SX50, to the best of my knowledge. John C. (Not Garand)

Correct - 50 doesn't support 401. Like the digital or the light if you hook up a 430 to a port programmed as a 420 (or vice versa) you get some functionality, but won't work correctly.
