Working on a Verizon PRI in Dayton Ohio. Everything up and synced but dial 0 and 0+ calls not routing - dead ending into message asying either "you must dial 1 before placing this call" or "you must dial a 1 or 0 before placing this call" . 1+ and toll free working fine. when tier 2 traps the call they say we are not sending the 0, but smdr monitor shows all digits being sent.
Verizon ISDN desk is also saying there is no way they are dropping the 1. I thought at first call was not routing, but have done CPN substitution and that is working fine. i also used Modified digits to try inserting an extra 0, and inserting PIC code but it's not making any difference.
Has anyone run into this before or have any ideas of anything I can try. I don't want to send tech to the property until I am sure it's not PBX.
Thanks
Dane

Most of the time providers are not allow to dial 0 on T1s. You have to put a request for it.

They say they are not even seeing the 0 when they capture the digits.

As in my original post I tried that - to no avail. I think it is a carrier problem, but they swear there is no way they could delete the 0 (yeah - like I believe that) but I wanted to examine all possibilities before getting a tech out to the property to verify it from there.

I never saw that any T1 providers will allow you to dial a PIC code but 0 it's usually their problems. You have to talck to the switch tech.

1 + routes fine. The MAC people and all the others are saying everything is programmed fine and that they are not receiving the zero - I have this one programmed EXACTLY like a bunch of others and they are working fine so I am going to open up a ticket to have the tech from Verizon go to the site and dial directly off the circuit. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
Thanks for all the input. I will try to remember to let y'all know what it was.
