We have ICP3300 in Oakland,CA, with version 5 on it. We just looking for upgrade to the version 7 or 8. For right now we do not have service contract. Company that sell to us asking for $5000 to make upgrade + 10 Sip licenses. We have like 30 people in this office. I've asked guy who provide service for the Mitel that we have in MA and he tell me that price for the Boston area will be twice less. IS it possible to find company in Oakland,CA area who can make upgrade for the cheapest price, or this is a reasonable price?

Depending on what is needed for the upgrade, Travel, OT ETC. upgrading from 5-7 or 8 will actually take 2 different upgrades. too many variables to tell if if that is a good price.

Also the other issue is that the latest release requires the system to install a new partition on the hard drive. We have found that upgrading older systems seem to cause the hard drive to fail about 50% of the time. We now recommend just replacing the drive so that could also be factored in that scenario.
