I have a friend with an SX2000. They used to have an SX200 and had DISA capability. With the SX2000 his PBX guys are telling him he can’t do DISA. Is there licensing issues or hardware issues or is his PBX guy an idiot? I am not trying to learn how to implement it just trying to arm him with info.
Thanks.

I'm not a 2000 guy, but I can't believe (unless there is some weird configuration issues) that he can't get DISA set up - pretty much available via standard programming on every Mitel switch type I have worked on. but again I am not a 2000 guy.

DISA is set up in the miscellaneous options assignment form. It's actually easier/more flexible than the SX200 systems.

I kinda figured it should be a standard option since this is the 21st century. I saw DISA options in configurations when I was watching over their shoulders so it should be as easy as figuring out how to program it. Thanks for the info, I will tell him to lean on his PBX guy a bit harder.

If I remember corectly, there is a issue (bug): If you are using a (analogic)trunk with "no far end disconect" and leave the d.i.s.a. trunk in a station no answer state.
