Customer has asked me if their Mitel 5212IP Phones will interface with a standard SIP provider. While my default response is "Maybe, but I wouldn't recommend you do what with a system phone" they insist on a definitive answer. Thus, I come to the proper place for all things telephony.
So, will a Mitel 5212IP Phone work with a regular SIP Provider? And if so, does it need any special type of service?
