Does anyone still make some kind of a manual line switch? One of my Dr's offices uses very old switches to divert DT from their Nortel to stand-alone answering machines. I am looking for a device that would allow individual line changes to be made by the end-user.

you can get a miniature switch from Radio Shack and put it on either the tip or ring of the pair, then they can toggle it off and on. But the easiest thing to do is just hook up line # 1 (or what ever line you want it to answer)to the stand alone answer device and just turn the answer machine on or off when they want it to answer (no switch needed).
