I've installed a new SX-200 MX Controller and having trouble interfacing with the PMS & PBX. I have programmed the I-Pockets, defaulted them and re-programmed them with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

So much involved here I don't know where to start. You have to make sure the iPockets have an IP address that is not in the DHCP range of the PBX.
For the PBX iPocket the remote port has to match the port of the socket you have programmed in form 12 for the pbx interface. Make sure you have the circuit descriptor for that ext programmed for the correct communications parameters. min, max and default baud rate should be set the baud rate supplied to you by the PMS company. And that the data bits, stop bits, and parity are set correctly on the same descriptor.
The VMS interface port is defaulted to socket 6830 and does not need to be programmed in form 12. The communications parameters are had coded - just make sure you find out if the PMS company is running Hyatt-encore or HIS protocol the set that up in form 49.
Make sure that Property management system instead of lodging is enabled in form 4 and that Voice mail property management is enabled in form 4 also.
make sure that you have PMS directed out of the extension you set up for the PBX interface in form 12. You will do this in form 34.
you will then have to program the serial side of the iPockets to match the parameters of the PMS ports.
If you need it I think I have a document as to how I normally program the iPockets.
after that you can connect your computer to each of the iPockets and do a simple test to make sure they are functioning on the PBX side.

Now this is what this forum is about. Phone people helping each other. Sorry if any you were offended by my comments in that other post. One thing I have learned in this business, we are lousy teachers. Were all too darn stubborn and don't have the time to waste not gettin er done. It's only after hours that we find the ability to pass on what we've learned. Although sometimes you have to save someone from themself, and that may appear as rude or uncaring.
