I'm getting a minor alarm on a Mitel 3300, version 8, cx controller regarding DSP's. The alarm actually reads dsp status total 3 unavailable 33%. In the help it suggests resetting the system and if this fails replace the DSP module. Any other ideas?

A reboot seems to be the best option. What does the maint logs show?

Have already tried resetting the switch and it made no difference. Nothing in the maintanence logs and if I view alarms in maintanence commands it says there are no alarms!!

The only way to have 3 dsp's is to have the t1/e1 combo card. It may be bad, or one of the others on the dual card.

This turned out to be version 8 software with a DSP 2 which are only supported from version 9 upwards.
