I have a 3300 8.0 UR4
Users fwd their 5340s to their cell phones. If an inside caller dials the 5340 it fwds to the cell until the cell vm answers, which is about 33 seconds. If an outside caller dials the 5340 it rings the cell for about 18 seconds then fwds to the vm of the 5340. We would like for it to ring the cell for a longer period of time to allow the caller to leave the message in the cell vm. I've tried adjusting the cfna and the nart on the cos of the 5340s and of the trunks, but it makes no difference. Does anyone know what this timer is called and where it is located?

I don’t have the docs here but it may have to do with trunk answer supervision, try setting fake answer supervision on outbound calls. You could also turn off rerouting for those phones, since they are using the cell voice mail.

Was the call answered by 3300 auto attendant? Maybe the timer in the cos of the vmail ports?

Make an External CF Follow me code and it will ring to cell right away as soon as you set it up. If you go to AA at first then it will take a number of rings per MB settings and then will follow CF External.

Thank you for all of your replies. I found that it actually was the cfna timer on the trunk group cos. After increasing the timer on the trunk group it worked properly. I must have been on the local trunk group instead of the pri trunk group when I did the initial testing. Incoming calls do follow the cfna timer of the trunk group instead of the cfna timer of the extension.
Thanks again,
Swoby
