Just upgraded a 3300 CX to rls 9
When I went to restore database, got an FTP error stating the "FakePath" wasn't right
Had one of our computer techs check and found that because I use my lap top as an office desktop as well, the recent Windows Update to Explorer 8, turned off my ability to upload the database.
just in case anyone else has the same issue.
Have disabled the auto update on my laptop
just for everyone's info

That maybe the reason IE8 isn't supported yet by Mitel

Just finished SX200ICP class and was told not to upgrade to IE8 it has issues with the 200 as well

One thing I might add is a while back, some Microsoft update fubarred my local IIS ftp, making it not function when working on 3300's.
Instead of trying to find the problem, I found it much easier to dump the MS IIS cr@p. Now I run the 3com ftp/tftp daemon, which covers all my needs in one. YMMV
