I navigate to form 50 and I have my cursor next to my ext 7807 but, I don't know what to do next to change the password. Will someone help me out with the rest of the steps. Thanks in advance.

There is no Pswd in form 50. You have to log in as Admin into the VM and reset pswd for ext.

do an "esc 7" and follow the instructions

vad60, Thanks for your input, as well. We finally figured out how to get into admin from a mailbox by pressing **. We were use to calling in and hitting AA and then press *.

As a safety, I recommend that you change the admins p/w to something and write it down for safe keeping, and only use the "manager" account.

Use Form 50 and search for mbox 999.

Then go ESC-7, Set the password for the manager and make the admin one something else.

The danger of using the admin account is when you are using a phone to admin the mail system, if you accidently hit 1 and then 1 BOOM you now have defaulted the mail database.

The manager account can do everything the admin can but not re-init or change the admins p/w.

And it too is accessed by dialing 999 or *999 etc.

I was sternly warned by my phone guy to use the manager acct.
