IS there any way U can activate caller id on sx-100 system. I already subscribe for callerid on all my lines. Any help appreciated.

Not that I am aware of. All parts for this unit were made before caller ID was even thought of.

Caller ID wasn't around in the 70's!!!

This might work for you. "Whozz Calling 4 LITE" at https://www.sandman.com/callerid.html I have no experience with them, but quoted them to a customer years ago. It captures caller ID info and delivers it via RS232 to computers. Might possibly use a Precidia and have users telnet to it via hyper-term, etc.

Or, line up a bunch of CID units next to the console with each unit marked for the trunk it's bridged across.
Wait a minute, if caller ID comes between the 1st and 2nd ring, and depends on battery to support the 232 data stream, what happens with ground start? Doesn't Line Seize @ the PBX cause battery to 'happen' AND it terminates ringing? John C.
