I've got a Mitel 3300 with DNIC integration to a third party voicemail system. The voicemail vendor is haing issues with sending a "hang up" signal to the DNIC extension to return to idle. Long story short, voicemail seizes DNIC port, dials MW on code plus extension number and on their side returns to idle. The DNIC port will stay off-hook for roughly 60 seconds and then return to idle state. Talked to Mitel rep and he indicates that the third party voicemail system not sending "disconnect code" to the 3300.

Any one out there know the codes used to emulate a Superset 430, especially the "hang up" code?

I recall sometimes you need "last party clear dialtone" in your system options (but that was on a 200 el/ml)

what type of voice board is it?

Last Party clear dial tone should work. I used to worry about using it because it is system wide and opened up the system to LD abuse but not such a problem anymore I would think.

Thanks for all the help, voice board is a Dialogic. Found out that the third party vendor needed to send "Kf" as a disconnect command and all is working great.

The Kf is actually telling the superset 430 to execute the operation of pressing the f Key (Kf) - which on the 430 must equal release or hangup (couldn't tell you without the map for set). I remember on the Active Voice we used to have to manually enter the keystroke sequence for the SX50)

Anyway - thanks for letting us know the solution.
