Ok, this is a mind bender. Assuming the T1 card is slotted in slot 6 of a 200D cabinet, what pairs do TX and RX appear on? If I had one of the adapters that install over the backplane amphenol it would be easy to figure out. But, I don't and I need to know this SOON, like by Monday evening. I figure I can use a 3-5 foot M/F 25pr cable and peel out the TX and RX pairs and have what is effectively an adapter. OR, if someone has an adapter they'll sell or loan CHEEP, PM me. John C.

TDS, Sounds like the voice of experience. Thanks, John C.

Thanks Dane.
John, I have a couple of the 200 Light adaptors, 9400-100-302-NA. They are pretty much the same except they have a metal housing that mounted on the back of the peripheral node… easily removed. It’s yours if you still want it, pm me your address.

Dane, I think I might have enjoyed 'artistic elements', esp. since it takes very little to entertain me these days. John C.

We take those adapters out whenever possible. They seem to cause more harm than good!

I would think that anything but ONS/OPS 'could' have problems, if the MDF cable is long enough. I've never had problems with the adapter, but I've only put in 5 or 6. That said, I'm glad to know my proposed alternate method has been used with success! John C.
