We have a Mitel sx200 ICP system and we've recently gone to using the auto attendant full-time. A request came in today to be able to replay the primary greeting. Is this possible? and can you tell me how to program it in?
Thanks

At what point do they want the main greeting replayed? If the caller does nothing, or do they want a single digit option to replay the greeting???

Right now I'll take either, but if the person could hit the * or #, that would be best. all other single digits are being used.

Did you ever get a solution to this problem.
I am having the same issue. * will return to the previous menu but will not replay the main greeting.
Anyone?

For those that haven't used all of their single digits, you can program a single digit 1 thru 8 as a menu tree. When that digit (let's say 7) is pressed, you can then press a * to get back to the initial greeting. You can play to the caller, "to repeat this message press 7*" For the single digit-7, you must log in to it as though it were a mailbox and record a quiet greeting (low breath) to act as a pause, otherwise the caller will hear the system momentarily. You could also "split" an existing single digit this way. Let's say your exisiting single digit is 7 for Sales. Using Menu Trees you could assign the sales extension under 6 in 7's menu tree so that Sales is now 76, and return to menu is 7*. It's ONLY cheesy if you don't record a quality "quiet" greeting for mailbox (menu-tree) 7.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
