From the tech docs;

Faulty System ID module

or

MOSS password was not purchased, a purchased option is not enabled, an enabled option is not purchased, the system password does not match, or the system id does not match.

If the sysid shows up in form 4, I think a faulty module can be eliminated.

It's easy to overlook an option.

Try starting fresh, and changing each option shown on the MOSS exactly as it is shown on the MOSS. EXACTLY -- don't decide that you'd like more BONS or ACD or whatever -- and then try it.

You might want to have another tech enter the data, to make sure that you're not overlooking something. And be certain to enter the MOSS password exactly as shown.

Usually when this happens to me, there's one option set wrong.

One other thing to check: Silly Question, but did you read the SYSID numebr directly off of the SYSID module on the processor? And did you CAREFULLY, WITH STATIC STRAP ON, check to be sure that the SYSID module is seated properly?

After you get it up and going: Connect a laptop to the printer port, open ProComm or HyperTerminal, start a capture file, and then run a printout from form 32. Save it, name it, and print the pertinent parts for future reference. You will be glad later.

Also, use Maintenance>System>Backup and make a backup file on your laptop.
