Check in and check out work just fine with the PMS, the name shows up, but the housekeeping room status is not working. They use *81, *82 and *83. I am confused about which options should be enabled on form 4. I enabled 33, but am finding some info that says that option 32 must be enabled with PMS. You can only do one or the other. Option 244 is enabled in the room class of service.

For PMS Option 33 should be disabled and COS Option 244 should be disabled for room phones. Option 32 can be either because it just lets you set a ARS dialing restriction from the console. I would have it enabled. Your Maid in Room code is *8? Some PMS systems need to have definition of what 1,2,3,4 etc. mean to them.

If you have it all set up correctly in the ICP, then the problem has to be with the PMS. See if you can call them to see what THEY have set up as the maid-in-room codes.

even though the mitel book says 1,2,3,4 this is for non-PMS checking room status through the console

if in full PMS setup the 200ICP will not change the status of the room on the console - only in the PMS vendor software

The PMS vendor software guys can set it to what ever they want to.
