SX 200 EL/ML (Hotel situation)

Is there a way to monitor SMDR for Internal (Ext. to Ext.) calls.

The phones in question are mainly ONS Extensions.

The digital sets already show who is calling and are using call logging.

The reason for the question is we had a situation where a person was receiving nuisance/harassing calls, a quick check of the SMDR showed no incoming calls to that extension.

Thus leaving us to beleive it was another guest room calling or worse an office extension.

Anyone have any insight whether this could be accomplished

There is no internal smdr on the SX200 ML/EL.

You could use attendant enabled room to room call blocking.

I figured that was the case after pouring through the docs but didn't know if anyone had run in to this before.

I thought of doing the call block, but that would just upset more people than it would help.

rfnetwork, call block normally only blocks room-to-room. It does not have anything to do with outbound calls to the rest of the world. Room-to-room calls are generally few and far between. Just an FYI.
And there is an alternate idea, although $$$$$$$$$$$$$! Caller ID to the room also supports extension-to-extension calls. All it takes all new analog extension cards and some other things like programming, possible software upgrade and of course labor.
