Stupid question I know, but is it possible to replace the battery(s) on the IPC in the SX-100.

The three tabbed batteries are soldered on the board, but can be replaced by someone handy with tools.

Thanks for the info, i quite use to replacing batteries soldered into place, now to find batteries.

FYI, hard to find. They are 1/3AAT. Digi-Key used to carry them, but no more. Most Batteries+ Can make them up, You'll have to take in the ipc or a sample battery so they see what you are after.

Found the batteries, they should be here this week, now the fun part, to replace them...

But FIRST, either print out present program or generate blank forms and fill them in. (Either way, boy is it fun!  ) When you change those batteries, the program will be GONE, GONE, GONE! (Nobody said this is an easy field to work in!  )

Good point John. I figured that was a given. I like to capture the printout to a laptop with the system set for the highest baud rate.

Make sure you initialize a few times before reprogramming. I like to see the dots go down in order, to know all's good. I do hope you have what was there on paper too
