Maybe they were refering to it that way because that is the maximum number of extensions the software is made for.

Steve has the answer. Early on, Mitel had a 'reduced size software'. Why? Who knows! But that was dropped before they upgraded from the '3504'? software. Probably came over from Britain that way. Another oddity, from Europe, there is a T1 card, that supports the 30 trunk European standard. Not registered for use in the U.S., and not supported by any U.S. software release, so don't get any ideas.

It probably was an European model software ,But it specifically stated 128, The battery was the lithium three prong, As for getting any ideas ,I could not get it programmed because it was a different version ,Than I have documentation on,When I loaded default all of the extensions were ringdown. When I tried using my documentation some registers seemed to match ,but not enough to properly programm it, when using the MS55 software registers and programming it for extensions it disabled the extension,Someone had suggested it could have been a proprietary military software as several were auctioned at surplus,But someone had the software before ,because they said it came out of a previous motel,Lighthorse it had a regular LS/GS card. Thanks Gene
