I'm working with a Mitel SX-200EL on Lightware 18 L42.0.2 that's integrated with an Innline 20/20 with a very strange wake up call issue. All rooms ring fine when being called, but wake up calls don't ring. The light flashes on the phones sometimes, and if you know the call is coming and you pick up it's there, but no ring in any rooms. I've disabled voicemail ports, rebooted the Innline, and rebooted the Mitel. There's nothing in the logs, and I see no issues with the voicemail ports either on the PBX or on the Voicemail. Nobody here has seen this one before and we're completely stumped.

Anyone have any ideas? My customer is being very understanding thus far, but I hate leaving them hanging for an extended period of time.

Thanks!
Chris

They set all wake ups through the console.

That only means they are accessing the system OR the 20/20, thru the console! Are all rooms in one bay? If so, try a new power supply. If not, test yourself whether or not the problem is on more than 1 bay, bet it isn't!

Sometimes you have to ask the warm-ware, "Can you SHOW me what you do to set a wake-up call?" -- If it's "Function" "guestroom" (room #) "wake-ups" etc. then the Mitel is doing the wakeups, and dollars to donuts Lightninghorse has answered your question.

Do they ever have any other problems with rooms not ringing?

I agree with John. I have never seen a system that failed to do wake up calls. For sure they should get a printout when a wake up is set by the console.

If they are relying on the voicemail system to do wake-ups, they need to make sure the clock on the PC is correct as well as the cos options in the phone system.

My thoughts are they have a defective printer and are too cheap to buy a new one. They have no proof that the call was set and answered or not
