Mitel/Encore 3000 System

I cannot change the primary or seconary greeting for any extension, all original greetings are still ok, any ideas Help!!!

phones are ECX 1000.

Step 1: Your dealer should have left instructions for you after installation. Usually, the receptionist or the executive secretary has them filed somewhere.

Step 2: If not, try calling your dealer and ask for a quick run-down on voicemail access.

You should be able to log into a mailbox, select the menu option for personal options, then select greetings, then follow the prompts, or something like that.

The voice mail was working ok, this fault has just developed. Also some fault reports from staff are saying that their phone indicates message waiting, but when they interrogate the voicemail, there is no message.

Pressing the "message" button on the phone should offer to clear the message or call back the person who left it.

Or, your dealer can tell you the "clear all features" code, which will also clear the message lamps.

Either way, you're probably going to need some dealer contact.

Ok thanks for the replies, I rebooted the switch and the voice mail fault cleared.

One question though, is it possible to dial another extension number after you leave a message in a extension voicemail box without hanging up, or is that only possible with a system mailbox? it is not clear in the Admin manual.
